Hop stunt viroid (HSVd) is an economically important pathogen that reduces growth and yield of hops. Visual symptoms of infected hop are highly dependent on cultivar. A study was conducted using six cultivars of hop to determine the impact on yield.

Hop stunt disease caused by Hop stunt viroid (HSVd) is a growing threat to hop cultivation globally. HSVd spreads mainly by use of contaminated planting material and by mechanical means. Thorough testing of hop yards and removal of infected bines are
