Abstract Improving and homogenizing time and space reference systems on Earth and, more specifically, realizing the Terrestrial Reference Frame (TRF) with an accuracy of 1 mm and a long-term stability of 0.1 mm/year are relevant for many scientific a

Thanks to the increasing number of permanent GNSS stations in Europe and their long records, we computed position solutions for more than 1000 stations over the last two decades using the REPRO3 orbit and clock products from the IGS CNES-CLS (GRGS) A

Environmental loading, in particular from continental water storage changes, induces geodetic station displacements up to several centimeters for the vertical components. We investigate surface deformation due to loading processes in South America us

The coupled effects of climate change and land sinking make deltas and coastal areas prone to inundation and flooding, meaning that reliable estimation of land subsidence is becoming crucial. Commonly, land subsidence is monitored by accurate continu

Space gravity measurements have been mainly used to study the temporal mass variations at the Earth’s surface and within the mantle. Nevertheless, mass variations due to the Earth’s core might be observable in the gravity field variations as meas

SUMMARY Observations of the ψ1 earth tide yield valuable insights into the earth’s free core nutation, especially if the effects of the ψ1 ocean tide can be removed. The ocean tide is extremely small, with amplitudes rarely more than a few millim
