Abstract MYCN oncogene amplification is frequently observed in aggressive childhood neuroblastoma. Using an unbiased large-scale mutagenesis screen in neuroblastoma-prone transgenic mice, we identify a single germline point mutation in the transcript

CHD4 is an essential chromatin remodelling enzyme in complex organisms. Here the authors demonstrate that CHD4 activity is regulated both positively and negatively by distinct auxiliary domains, revealing parallels with other chromatin remodellers.

Although ACE2 is the primary receptor for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, a systematic assessment of host factors that regulate binding to SARS-CoV-2 spike protein has not been described. Here, we use whole-gen

Abstract Global control of COVID-19 requires broadly accessible vaccines that are effective against SARS-CoV-2 variants. In this report, we exploit the immunostimulatory properties of bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG), the existing tuberculosis vaccine,

Chromatin remodellers hydrolyse ATP to move nucleosomal DNA against histone octamers. Here, the authors use single-molecule assays to examine the mechanism of action of CHD4 remodeller, and provide evidence that CHD4 slides nucleosomes by decoupling

PWWP2A is a chromatin-binding transcriptional regulator that mediates mitosis-progression. Here, the authors provide evidence that PWWP2A directly interacts with H2A.Z nucleosomes, DNA and H3K36me3, binds to an MTA1-specific subcomplex of the NuRD co

Bromodomains regulate gene expression by recognizing protein motifs containing acetyllysine. Although originally characterized as histone-binding proteins, it has since become clear that these domains interact with other acetylated proteins, perhaps
