Triboluminescence (TL) is a phenomenon of light emission resulting from the mechanical force applied to a substance. Although TL has been observed for many ages, the radiation mechanism is still under investigation. One of the exemplary compounds whi

We present fluorescence and a random lasing enhancement effect due to the interaction between gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and Rhodamine 6G (Rh6G) dye. Non-covalently bounded dyes in the proximity of nanoparticles are studied in three systems of varyin

The aggregation of a TCF-based dye exhibiting AIE is used to enhance the random lasing emission intensity up to 170 times. The transition from small aggregates to crystals forms a second lasing band and is responsible for 2-photon pumped lasing.
