We demonstrate a new method for multidimensional coherent spectroscopy of nanostructures. We use a heterodyne technique implemented with a confocal microscope to record the amplitude and phase of all degenerate third-order wave-mixing processes.

The formation of keyholes during high-irradiance laser-metal interaction is the complex, multiphysics phenomenon that underpins industrial processes such as laser-based additive manufacturing, laser welding, and laser cutting. The complex dynamics of

High-speed (100 kHz–1 MHz) in situ tracking of laser-metal processing significantly benefits development of deterministic models. We integrate inline coherent imaging with integrating sphere radiometry to simultaneously measure keyhole depth and ab

Auger-ionized free-carriers in a one-dimensional semiconductor are predicted to result in a strong band-gap renormalization. Isolated single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) under high-intensity laser irradiation exhibit strong nonlinear photoluminesc

The interaction between high-irradiance light and molten metal is the complex multiphysics phenomenon that underpins industrial processes such as laser-based additive manufacturing, welding, and cutting. One aspect that requires careful attention is

Poor photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) limits the use of monolayer MoS 2 for optoelectronic device applications. We demonstrate significantly enhanced photoluminescence (PL) up to an order of magnitude using trifluoromethansulfonimide (TFSI) aci
