This paper supplements our treatment of Sisyrinchium for Flora Mesoamericana in which 13 species are recognized. One new species is described, S. subalpinum, from Mexico (only Chiapas), Guatemala, and Costa Rica. Sisyrinchium trinerve, previously kno
