BackgroundErythropoietic protoporphyria (EPP) is a rare metabolic disease with painful photosensitivity due to protoporphyrin IX accumulation. ObjectivesTo evaluate bone mineral density (BMD) and known osteoporosis risk factors in patients with EPP.
