Adsorption of SiPc(OH) 2 on Sm/Si(1 1 1) interface is investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy. The Sm/Si(1 1 1) interface is known to induce a high number of 1D structures in the sub-monolayer Sm coverage. We show in this study, the possibility
