Cu2+ doped TiO2 nanocrystals were synthesized using dispersions of titania nanotubes in the presence of Cu2+ ions as a precursors. The morphologies of nanotubular titania precursors and resulted Cu2+ doped TiO2 nanocrystals were characterized by TEM.
