We report on calcium abundance A (Ca) estimates during the decay phases of 194 solar X-ray flares using archived data from the Bent Crystal Spectrometer (BCS) on the Solar Maximum Mission (operational 1980–1989). The abundances are derived from the

Observations of the dynamics of solar coronal structures are necessary to investigate space weather phenomena and global heating of the corona. The profiles of high temperature lines emitted by the hot plasma are usually integrated by narrow band fil

Investigations of the dynamics of the hot coronal plasma are crucial for understanding various space weather phenomena and making in-depth analyzes of the global heating of the solar corona. We present here numerical simulations of observations of si

The Multichannel Subtractive Double Pass (MSDP) is an imaging spectroscopy technique, which allows observations of spectral line profiles over a 2D field of view with high spatial and temporal resolution. It has been intensively used since 1977 on va
The rare CI carbonaceous chondrites are the most aqueously altered and chemically primitive meteorites but due to their porous nature and high abundance of volatile elements are susceptible to terrestrial weathering. The Ivuna meteorite, type specime

ChemiX is a Bragg crystal spectrometer that will fly on the two Interhelioprobe spacecraft due for launch in 2025 and 2026. The spacecraft perihelion will be only 0.3 a.u. and the orbit inclination up to 30°, and so instruments on board will have a
