The Thirty Meter Telescope primary mirror consists of 492 diameter segments, with 82 unique prescriptions. This presentation will share the progress of a CGH-assisted Fizeau interferometric testbed, including a proof-of-concept segment measurement.

CGH Interferometry provides the standard for accurate measurement of transmitted wavefront for large lenses. With multiple patterns on the same substrate, a CGH also enables simultaneous measurements of multiple degrees of freedom used for alignment.

The Thirty Meter Telescope uses a hyperboloidal f/1 primary mirror made from 492 1.4-m segments with 82 different aspheric prescriptions. Each segment will be measured using Fizeau interferometry with spherical reference surface and CGH aspheric corr

The LSST M1/M3 combines an 8.4 m primary mirror and a 5.1 m tertiary mirror on one glass substrate. The combined mirror was completed at the Richard F. Caris Mirror Lab at the University of Arizona in October 2014. Interferometric measurements show t

We describe a relatively simple, but highly effective, approach to the system design and alignment of an all-refractive Offner null corrector and phase-measuring Shack cube interferometer. In addition we outline procedures for fabricating and testing

We have nearly completed the manufacture of a 1.7 m off-axis mirror as part of the technology development for the Giant Magellan Telescope. The mirror is an off-axis section of a 5.3 m f/0.73 parent paraboloid, making it roughly a 1:5 model of the ou

We discuss the basic concepts that have been useful in our work designing multiple aperture telescopes with wide fields of view. We will apply these concepts to several types of systems and discuss the results.
