The emission of intermediate mass fragments (IMFs) has been studied using the 4π array, AMPHORA. The energy spectra, the angular distributions, the multiplicities, and the charge distributions are studied inclusively as well as in coincidence with p

Energy spectra of light charged particles (Z = 1,2) observed at θLP = 5°−150° in coincidence with fragments of Z = 5–14 at θF = ±9° are examined. The fragment-energy spectra show two components, one with a projectile-like velocity and anoth

The α-emission temperatures of medium mass nuclei with masses near 140, determined at excitation energies from 2 to 4.3 MeV/nucleon, suggest a rapid increase in the heat capacity of the composite system consistent with model predictions of the onset

The study of evaporation residue from the Ne + Ag system shows that there is qualitative change in the reaction mechanism in the Fermi energy domain. At 20 MeV/u the projectile is mostly absobered by the target, while at 30-37 MeV/u a continious rang

For the reactions of 30 MeV/nucleon /sup 16/O and /sup 32/S with Ag, singles and coincidence measurements have been made for heavy residues, fragments (3less than or equal tozless than or equal to14), and light charged particles (zless than or equal

The observation of projectile-like fragments with an energy corresponding to the beam velocity turns out to be mostly explained by the break-up of the projectile, the break-up of the ejectile formed by transfer and the decay of the excited projectile

Measurements of projectile-like-fragment--target-like-fragment coincidences in the reaction {sup 40}Ar+{sup 27}Al are simulated using a Monte Carlo version of the random walk model. The predictions of the model are compared with recent measurements.

Evidence that primary ejectiles formation strongly depends on the projectile structure is given by comparison of 20Ne + 93Nb and 22Ne + 93Nb reactions at 30 MeV/A. Pick-up, stripping, break-up mechanism are identified using light particles-projectile
