Abstract SAG21/LEA5 is an unusual late embryogenesis abundant protein in Arabidopsis thaliana, that is primarily mitochondrially located and may be important in regulating translation in both chloroplasts and mitochondria. SAG21 expression is regulat

Background Cellular immunotherapy using modified T cells offers new avenues for cancer treatment. T-cell receptor (TCR) engineering of CD8 T cells enables these cells to recognize tumor-associated antigens and tumor-specific neoantigens. Improving TC

Abstract The SUMO protease SENP6 maintains genomic stability, but mechanistic understanding of this process remains limited. We find that SENP6 deconjugates SUMO2/3 polymers on a group of DNA damage response proteins, including BRCA1-BARD1, 53BP1, BL

An apolipoprotein B gene MspI RFLP was identified by the use of a probe to a portion of the 3' end of the gene. By Southern blotting analysis after digestion with MspI, this probe detected either a 9 kb or a 2.6 kb fragment. Family studies showed tha

Bosonic quantum error correction has proven to be a successful approach for extending the coherence of quantum memories, but to execute deep quantum circuits, high-fidelity gates between encoded qubits are needed. To that end, we present a family of

Encoding a qubit in a high-quality superconducting microwave cavity offers the opportunity to perform the first layer of error correction in a single device but presents a challenge: how can quantum oscillators be controlled while introducing a minim

Using Brownian dynamics simulations, we show that an oscillating microbubble can locally crystallize an attractive colloidal gel above a threshold frequency. We relate this to the moving interface's ability to extract colloids from the gel network.
