Abstract In this paper, we take into account the Gribov copies present in 3D Yang–Mills–Higgs theory with a constant vector background whose presence breaks the Lorentz symmetry. The constant vector background is introduced within the non-Abelian

Abstract The non-Abelian aether-like Lorentz-breaking term, involving triple and quartic self-coupling vertices, is generated from the non-Abelian generalization of the Lorentz-breaking extended QED including only a minimal spinor-vector interaction.

Thoracic calcifications are frequently found in chest radiographs and CTs, occurring in a wide variety of disorders. Although most calcifications are harmless sequelae of previous disease, they provide important information to establish the diagnosis

In this paper, we discuss various possible schemes for the perturbative generation of the axion-photon interaction term in different Lorentz-breaking extensions of QED, involving operators with mass dimensions up to five. We demonstrate explicitly th

This study assesses the impact of the land use and climate changes between 1967–2008 on the streamflow and sediment yield in Tapacurá River basin (Brazil) using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model. The model was calibrated and valid

This study aims to assess the impact of the land-use changes between the periods 1967−1974 and 1997−2008 on the streamflow of Tapacurá catchment (northeastern Brazil) using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model. The results show that t

Fluids produced from oil reservoirs typically contain oil, natural gas, water, sediments, in varying amounts, and contaminating gases. Considering that economic interest usually targets mostly oil and gas, primary processing is used to separate water

The fluids produced and transported to the surface by the production manifolds do not have the necessary conditions to be economically viable. Produced fluids consist of at least three fluid phases (oil, water, and gas), besides impurities and contam
