The noctuid genus Lophotyna Hampson, 1910 is downgraded to a subgenus of the genus Polymixis Hübner, [1820] and reviewed. Two new species are described from Myanmar: Polymixis (Lophotyna) pateikkaya sp. nov. and Polymixis (Lophotyna) aungi sp. nov.
