The formation of the inclusion complexes of Basic Violet 2 (New Fuchsin) with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) was studied by UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The binding constants of the inclusion complexes, KB, were obtained
