Abstract Background Longitudinal, real-world data on the management of metastatic breast cancer is increasingly relevant to understand breast cancer care in routine clinical practice. Yet such data are scarce, particularly beyond second- and third-li

Breast cancer (BC) is the leading cause of cancer mortality among women in Ethiopia. Overall, women of African ancestry have the highest death toll due to BC compared to other racial/ethnic groups. The cause of the disparity in mortality is unclear.

HER2-positive (HER2+) breast cancer (BC) is a heterogenous and multifaceted disease, with interesting therapeutic implications. First, all intrinsic molecular subtypes can be identified in HER2+ tumors, with the HER2-enriched being the most frequent.

Male breast cancer (MBC) is rare and usually presents as a locally advanced disease. Stromal tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (sTILs) are associated with a better response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy and improved prognosis in all molecular subtypes of

We proposed a highly versatile two-step transfer learning pipeline for predicting the gene signature defining the intrinsic breast cancer subtypes using unannotated pathological images. Deciphering breast cancer molecular subtypes by deep learning ap

Background: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a clinically heterogeneous group of cancers. While some patients respond well to chemotherapy, we describe here a subgroup with distinct molecular features that has very poor prognosis under chemotherapy. T

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association between four distinct histopathological features: (1) tumor infiltrating lymphocytes, (2) mucinous differentiation, (3) tumor-stroma ratio, plus (4) tumor budding and two gene expression-based
