Purpose: Fractionated high-dose-rate (fr.HDR) and pulsed-dose, rate (PDR) brachytherapy (BT) regimens, which simulate classical continuous low- dose-rate (LDR) interstitial radiation therapy (IRT) schedules, have been developed for clinical use. This
