Adsorption of n-alkane mixtures in the zeolite LTA-5A under liquid-phase conditions has been studied using grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulations combined with parallel tempering. Normal GCMC techniques fail for some of these systems due to t

The liquid-phase adsorption of C5−C24 linear alkanes in zeolite 5A at room temperature was studied using the configurational bias Monte Carlo molecular modeling technique and the batch experimental method. Up to C16, a highly discontinuous variatio

The influence of Si:Al-ratio on the adsorption of alkanes, alkenes and aromatics was determined in gas and liquid phase; i.e. at low and high degree of pore filling. In gas phase the pulse chromatographic method was used to determine the interaction

Liquid phase adsorption of alkane/alkene mixtures on NaY was studied using different methods. It was shown that the presence of traces of water in the feed, has a tremendous influence on subsequent measurements during continuous flow through experime

Adsorption.
Liquid phase adsorption of alkane/alkene/aromatic mixtures in FAU supercages is governed by a combination of enthalpic and entropic effects. Large energetic interactions between specific molecular moieties (e.g. double bond or aromatic ring) and adso
