The generation of high-power nanosecond radio frequency pulses is obtained by means of sequential commutation of silicon high voltage switches periodically placed in a nonlinear transmission line. The coaxial transmission line had the inner conductor

The paper presents the results of an experiment on the emission of radio pulses formed in a nonlinear transmission line with GaAs diodes. GaAs-based diodes can effectively sharpen pulse front with a lower probability of thermal breakdown than silicon

In this paper, we studied the possibility of creating a nanosecond UHF pulse generator by the excitation of damped gyromagnetic precession in ferrite of a smaller size compared with wavelength. The issues of excitation of oscillations in the proposed

Coaxial transmission lines filled with saturated ferromagnetic material have been used for pulse sharpening purposes and high-frequency oscillation generation for a long time. These phenomena have been well studied experimentally, but have no exact a

The switching process during the pulse sharpening by silicon diodes with the p+-p-n-n+ structure type and its different area: 0.16 cm2 and 0.09 cm2 was experimentally studied. A reverse polarity pulse with amplitude from 5.43 to 12.80 kV and an avera

In this paper we present the results of experimental investigation together with 3D simulation of high-voltage pulse sharpening of the amplitude of 150–200 kV by a nonlinear transmission line with spiral central conductor which incorporate a ferrit

The effect of nanosecond radiofrequency pulses (ns RF) on tumor and normal cells has been studied. To determine the viability of cells, an MTT test was used, as well as a real time system for analyzing cell cultures-iCELLigence. It has been shown tha

This paper describes two approaches which have been developed in the past few years for the creation of electronically controlled steering of the microwave beam formed by multichannel auto-oscillators. The first one is based on two- and four-channel
