Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) mutant glioblastoma (GBM), accounts for ~10% GBMs, arises from lower grade diffuse glioma and preferentially appears in younger patients. Here, we aim to establish a robust gene expression-based molecular classification

BACKGROUND IDH-mutant glioblastoma is classified by the 2016 CNS WHO as a group with good prognosis. However, the actual number of cases examined in the literature is relatively small. We hypothesize that IDH-mutant glioblastoma is not a uniform grou

The number of IDH-mutant glioblastoma examined in the literature and TCGA is few. We used Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip array to classify 64 IDH-mutant-GBM into methylation groups. Gene copy number variations were determined from methylation. 53.

Aims Mutations of isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH)1/2 affect almost all astrocytomas of WHO grade II and III. A subset of IDH-mutant astrocytic tumours progresses to IDH-mutant glioblastoma or presents with the histology of a glioblastoma at first pres

Genomic alterations of CDKN2A and CDKN2B in astrocytomas have been an evolving area of study for decades. Most recently, there has been considerable interest in the effect of CDKN2A and/or CDKN2B (CDKN2A/B) homozygous deletions (HD) on the prognosis
