Results of optical-luminescence studies of polydoped photochromic CdBr2: AgCl,PbBr2 crystals are presented. It is shown that the luminescence decrease vs. time under N2-laser excitation in the range of A-band of Pb2+ absorption is due to photochemica

The influence of a SmBr3 impurity on optical absorption spectra and x-ray-, photo-, and thermally stimulated luminescence of CaI2 scintillator was studied in the temperature range 90–295 K. Activation of CaI2 from the melt by SmBr3 caused absorptio

The effect of temperature on the spectral luminescence characteristics of PbWO4:Tb3+ crystals with synchrotron and laser excitation is studied. If PbWO4:Tb3+ is excited by synchrotron radiation with λ = 88 nm at 300 K, a faint recombination luminesc

This paper reports on the results of the investigation into the optical luminescence properties of photochromic crystals CdBr2 : AgCl grown by the Bridgman-Stockbarger method. It has been shown that, under X-ray, optical, and N2-laser excitations of

We have studied thermally and photostimulated recombination processes in PbWO4 crystals in the temperature interval 90–295 K. We have shown that after x-ray excitation of the crystal at 90 K, the thermally stimulated luminescence curve shows a rela
