Correlations between photoluminescence and temperature-dependent Hall measurements were carried out on unintentionally doped HgCdTe epilayers with cadmium composition of 32.7%. These films were grown by liquid-phase epitaxy and post-annealed under di

We studied the photoluminescence of Hg1−xCdxTe (x ≈ 0.3) layers grown by molecular-beam epitaxy on CdZnTe. The investigations were carried out on unintentionally doped, In-doped, and As-doped samples, and the effect of different annealing procedu

The spectroscopic properties of ZnO epilayers grown by molecular beam epitaxy are investigated. Three samples are compared: a homoepitaxial layer grown on a Crystec substrate, a sample directly grown on c-sapphire and a layer grown on c-sappire using

We report on ZnO nanorods grown by catalyst-free metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD) in a commercial Epigress reactor using diethylzinc and N"2O as precursors. Well-aligned ZnO nanorods with uniform diameter, length and density have been

The Purcell effect leads to an enhancement of the spontaneous emission in a given cavity mode for an emitter located in a small volume cavity. This effect is well explained as a consequence of Fermi's golden rule in a particular photonic environment.

The features of CdSe/ZnSe quantum dots (QDs) grown by molecular beam epitaxy at 280 °C and 240 °C are studied by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and photoluminescence (PL). The epitaxial structures consist of a

The mechanism allowing the transition from a two-dimensional strained layer of CdSe on ZnSe to self-assembled islands induced by the use of amorphous selenium is still not fully understood. For a better understanding, atomic force microscopy and tran
