A new measurement of the Σ + magnetic moment is reported. The measurement stems from 12 000 events of the reaction K − p→ Σ + π − produced at beam momenta around 460 MeV/ c in HYBUC, the hydrogen bubble chamber with an 11.5 T magnetic field.
