In this paper, we demonstrated high-power, narrow-linewidth Yb-doped PM fiber amplifier using bi-directional pumping. The PRBS phase modulated laser as seed source was used to suppress the SBS.

We investigate a linearly polarized superfluorescent(SFS) source using a 0.1 nm-filtered ASE of a semiconductor optical amplifier. The SFS source is amplified up to 2 kW by PM-fiberized amplifiers at 1065 nm region.

The PER of panda PM fiber was found to increase by 4.08 dB as the polarization axis became aligned at the same coiling diameter. PER was increased at larger coiling diameters.
