This paper presents a dedicated study of plasma-antenna (PA) coupling with the Alfven Eigenmode Active Diagnostic (AEAD) in JET. Stable AEs and their resonant frequencies f, damping rates $\gamma$ < 0, and toroidal mode numbers n are measured for var

The `Alfv\'en Paradox' is that as resistivity decreases, the discrete eigenmodes do not converge to the generalized eigenmodes of the ideal Alfv\'en continuum. To resolve the paradox, the $\epsilon$-pseudospectrum of the RMHD operator is considered.

Non Regression Testing (NRT) aims to check if software modifications result in undesired behaviour. Suppose the behaviour of the application previously known, this kind of test makes it possible to identify an eventual regression, a bug. Improving an

The implementation of a resistive-wall extension to the non-linear MHD-code JOREK via a coupling to the vacuum-field code STARWALL is presented along with first applications and benchmark results. Also, non-linear saturation in the presence of a resi

During the 2003 experimental campaign, the aim of realizing reliable fully non inductive discharges has been successfully completed in Tore Supra. One the major difficulties in optimizing this scenario comes from MHD stability issues. Indeed, the cur

Regular oscillations of the central electron temperature have been observed by means of ECE and SXR diagnostics during non-inductively driven discharges on Tore Supra. These oscillations are sustained by LHCD, do not have a helical structure and, the
