Abstract Background This study aimed to determine whether postnatal treatment with recombinant human IGF-1 (rhIGF-1)/binding peptide 3 (BP3) ameliorates lung injury and prevents pulmonary hypertension (PH) in bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) models.
