Evaluation of glyphosate and paraquat as substitutes for seedbed preparation by tillage in a hoe farming system

Seedbed preparation is difficult for hoe farmers because hoes make inefficient tillage instruments. Test were made in sorghum and millet fields in northern Nigeria to evaluate glyphosate and paraquat as substitutes for seedbed preparation by tillage.
