Full-length infectious cDNA clones were constructed for two isolates (LMV-0 and LMV-E) of Lettuce mosaic virus (LMV), a member of the genus Potyvirus. These two isolates differ in pathogenicity in susceptible and tolerant-resistant lettuce cultivars.
