We demonstrate an integrated device in SOI platform for the coupling of OAM modes into multimode fibers. The coupler is tunable for different OAM modes with low intermodal crosstalk.

In this work, a polarization splitter-rotator in the SOI platform is demonstrated, based on the evanescent coupling to a polysilicon waveguide. The device is compact (< 30µm), low loss (< −1.5dB) and simple to fabricate.
