Despite rapidly evolving health-care systems, India continues to have a high disease burden for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The Asia-Pacific Asthma Insights and Management survey clearly revealed that asthma management re

Let G be a finite group. An automorphism $$\alpha $$ of G is called an $$\text{ IA }$$ automorphism if it induces the identity automorphism on the abelianized group $$G/G'$$ . Let $$\text{ IA }(G)$$ be the group of all $$\text{ IA }$$ automorphisms o

In this note, we classify all finite groups having exactly 6, 7 or 8 cyclic subgroups. This gives a partial answer to the open problem posed by Tarnauceanu (Amer. Math. Monthly, 122 (2015), 275-276). As a consequence of our results, we also obtain an

We study finite p-groups G of coclass upto 4 for which the group Aut_z(G) of all central automorphisms of G is of minimal possible order. As a consequence, we obtain very short and elementary proofs of main results of Sharma and Gumber [7].

Let G be a finite group and let xG denote the conjugacy class of an element x of G. We classify all finite groups G in the following three cases: (i) Each non-trivial conjugacy class of G together with the identity element 1 is a subgroup of G, (ii)

Let [Formula: see text] be a finite group and let [Formula: see text] denote the probability that a randomly chosen element from [Formula: see text] fixes a randomly chosen element from [Formula: see text]. We classify all finite abelian groups [Form
