In this paper, bifacial n-type silicon wafer solar cells with a front boron-diffused emitter and a rear phosphorus-diffused back surface field are investigated. The cell structure is abbreviated as nFAB (n-type Front and Back Contact). Three differen

Using a high throughput, in-line atmosphere chemical vapor deposition (APCVD) tool, we have synthesized amorphous aluminum oxide (AlOx) films from precursors of trimethyl-aluminum (TMA) and O2, yielding a maximum deposition 150 nm min–1 per wafer.

This paper addresses the calculation of internal back reflectance for various dielectrics that are used in rear-side passivated crystalline silicon solar cells. Optical modeling of various stack configurations is examined to explore the back-surface

Emitter formation for industrial crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar cells is demonstrated by the deposition of phosphorous-doped silicate glasses (PSG) on p-type monocrystalline silicon wafers via in-line atmospheric pressure chemical vapor deposition

Small electrically charged soot particles (CSP) present in the exhaust of a jet aircraft engine combustor have been detected by a Large Ion Mass Spectrometer and quantitatively measured by an Ion Mobility Analyzer. The size and concentration measurem

Positive and negative ions have been measured by the ion mobility analyzer in the exhaust of a jet aircraft engine behind the combustor exit at the ground-level. The operational conditions of the combustor were varied covering two fuel flows (FFs) an
In this paper we present latest results in the development of a process for the fabrication of a selective emitter structure on mono- and multicrystalline silicon solar cells. The process is based on an approach that was first introduced by Zerga et
