Processing advantages arising from self-association have been documented across various stimuli and paradigms. However, the implications of “self-association” for affective and social behavior have been scarcely investigated. The approach-avoidan

Self-related information is processed with priority, an effect known as the self-prioritization effect (SPE). Recent studies on SPE show enhanced cognitive processing of the newly learned self-association compared to non-self (such as mother, friend,

We present a label embedding based approach to large-scale multi-label learning, drawing inspiration from ideas rooted in distributional semantics, specifically the Skip Gram Negative Sampling (SGNS) approach, widely used to learn word embeddings. Be

Most earlier work on text summarization is carried out on news article datasets. The summary in these datasets is naturally located at the beginning of the text. Hence, a model can spuriously utilize this correlation for summary generation instead of

Relation classification is a well known task in NLP. It classifies relations that occur between two entities in sentences by assigning a label from a pre-defined set of abstract relation labels. A benchmark data set for this task is the SemEval-2010

A raw colored video takes up around three times more memory size than it’s grayscale version. We can exploit this fact and send the grayscale version of a colored video along with a colorization model instead of the colored video to save bandwidth

We present an attention-based ranking framework for learning to order sentences given a paragraph. Our framework is built on a bidirectional sentence encoder and a self-attention based transformer network to obtain an input order invariant representa

Automatic abstractive summary generation remains a significant open problem for natural language processing. In this work, we develop a novel pipeline for Semantic Abstractive Summarization (SAS). SAS, as introduced by Liu et. al. (2015) first genera
