Ataxia-telangiectasia (AT) is a rare inherited recessive disorder which is caused by a mutated Ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) gene. Hallmarks include chromosomal instability, cancer predisposition and increased sensitivity to ionizing radiation.
