Poststarburst galaxies are believed to be in a rapid transition between major merger starbursts and quiescent ellipticals, where active galactic nucleus (AGN) feedback is suggested as one of the processes responsible for the quenching. To study the r

The AGN STORM 2 campaign is a large, multiwavelength reverberation mapping project designed to trace out the structure of Mrk 817 from the inner accretion disk to the broad emission line region and out to the dusty torus. As part of this campaign, Sw

We present rest-frame ultraviolet images of six luminous quasars at z ∼ 4.8 obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). These quasars exhibit a wide range of star formation rates (SFRs) and lie in a wide range of environments. We carefully mode

Weak emission-line quasars (WLQs) are a subset of type 1 quasars that exhibit extremely weak Ly α + N v λ 1240 and/or C iv λ 1549 emission lines. We investigate the relationship between emission-line properties and accretion rate for a sample of 2

Accurately determining the masses of supermassive black holes is crucial to understand their evolution and the establishment of their relationship with their host galaxy properties. Beyond the local universe, the single epoch mass estimation method p
