The polymetallic Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Au and Ag deposits of Bou Azzer East is linked to Bou Azzer ophiolite located in the Central Anti Atlas. The ultramafic rocks are strongly deformed and altered by serpentinization, carbonatization and silicification.
