Al-10 wt% beryl metal matrix composites were fabricated using powder metallurgy route. A minor addition of ∼5wt% copper was added to these Al-beryl composites. Sintering was carried out at 600 °C for 2 h in a vacuum sintering furnace. Al-Beryl com
