We report on the fabrication and characterisation of an all-epitaxial Germanium-on-Insulator (GOI) Metal- Semiconductor-Metal (MSM) photodetector. The MSM photodetector is fabricated on a (111)-oriented epitaxial Ge layer, grown on an epitaxial Gd2O3
