An all fiber, diode-pumped, electrically tunable ring laser is reported. Gain is provided by an erbium-doped fiber and tuning by a Fiber Fabry-Perot etalon. The threshold at 1.566 µm is 2.9 mW, the slope efficiency is 0.15 and the output power is 4.
