The Pegasus I and Pegasus II cluster of galaxies

The dynamics of some binary galaxies

Seven binary galaxies have been studied in the 21-cm hydrogen line to determine individual masses of each galaxy and the pair masses. It appears that all the mass in the pairs is within the individual galaxies as measured by their rotational curves.
