Abstract Using Chern-Simons formulation, we investigate higher spin (HS) black holes in AdS3 with soft Heisenberg hair and establish linkage with the real forms of the underlying complexified gauge symmetries taken here as SL(N, ℂ)L × SL(N, ℂ)R.

We develop a complex fermionic field-based method to model the properties of the filled bands of topological two-dimensional (2D) matter with time reversal (TR)-symmetry. Using this fermionic representation, we give an explicit calculation of the [Fo
