In this paper, Finite Element Method (FEM)-based design and simulation of circular capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (CMUT) has been discussed. The FEM simulation of CMUT is accomplished by using MEMCAD tools CoventorWare® and COMSOLTM.
