Periodic Motion in the Chaotic Phase of an Unstirred Ferroin-Catalyzed Belousov Zhabotinsky Reaction
Publikováno v:
Frontiers in Chemistry, Vol 10 (2022)
The Belousov Zhabotinsky reaction, a self-organized oscillatory color-changing reaction, can show complex behavior when left unstirred in a cuvette environment. The most intriguing behavior is the transition from periodicity to chaos and back to peri

Gravitational phase transitions and instabilities of self-gravitating fermions in general relativity
Publikováno v:
Physics Letters B, Vol 801, Iss , Pp - (2020)
We discuss the occurrence of gravitational phase transitions and instabilities in a gas of self-gravitating fermions within the framework of general relativity. In the classical (nondegenerate) limit, the system undergoes a gravitational collapse at

Introduction The cochlea and the vestibular receptors are closely related in terms of anatomy and phylogeny. Patients with moderate to profound sensorineural hearing loss (MPSHL) should have their vestibular organ functions tested. Objective To evalu

The paper presents a recursive function able to mimic demographic mortality curves. This function is not a fitting algorithm and depends only from one parameter, that has a precise meaning in a cellular automaton model. This model is also presented.

Modern hearing aids use various signal-processing strategies to improve speech intelligibility. In this manuscript, we studied the linear frequency transposition (LFT), a frequency-lowering algorithm, in patients with age-related hearing loss. Freque
