The energy of fluorination of germanium difluoride has been measured in a bomb calorimeter. From the combustion results the standard enthalpy of formation ΔH f o (GeF 2 ,c, 298.15 K) was determined to be −(157.4 ± 1.0) kcal mol −1 . †
