Daminozide (Alar) was found to produce N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) and N-nitrodimethylamine (NITDMA) when treated with nitrite in acidic solution. Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH), the hydrolysis product of Daminozide, gave the same products.

The absorption spectra of metal ions of the first transition series dissolved in molten LiCl-KCl eutectic are given, together with the spectra of some of the ion dissolved in molten KSCN. It is shown that the stoichiometry and geometry of complex ion

Despite many years of research on the metabolism of N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) in rats, the significance of enzymatic denitrosation as a pathway remains unclear. To assess the role of this pathway of metabolism in rats, animals were administered N

Veno-occlusive disease (VOD) of the liver has been diagnosed in a large number of captive cheetahs. Some ingredients or contaminants present in the diet were suspected as possible causes for this noninfectious disease with high incidence. Eight diffe
