Two-dimensional semiconducting systems, such as quantum wells and transition metal dichalcogenides, are the foundations to investigate low dimensional light-matter interactions. To date, the study of elementary photoexcitation, namely the exciton, in

We use two coherent spectroscopy techniques to measure the strain tensor local to an ensemble of silicon-vacancy centers in diamond. Our results provide a possible pathway for using diamond as a tensorial strain gauge.

We characterize a high-density sample of negatively charged silicon-vacancy (${\mathrm{SiV}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$) centers in diamond using collinear optical multidimensional coherent spectroscopy. By comparing the results of complementary signal detect

Establishing the correct phase in multidimensional coherent spectroscopy (MDCS) experiments is critical because the interpretation of quantum pathways is based on the phase of their associated spectral features but is not trivial because the phase in

Multidimensional coherent spectroscopy measurements of SiV− centers in diamond reveal a previously unexamined population of silicon-based defect states, which are not detected in photoluminescence and which exhibit a substantial degree of inhomogen

We take one-dimensional data along arbitrary directions in the t-τ plane of a multidimensional coherent spectroscopy experiment to obtain projections in the ω Γ ω τ plane, allowing faster data collection and insight into the meaning of lineshape
We present an ultrafast coherent spectroscopy data acquisition scheme that samples slices of the time domain used in multidimensional coherent spectroscopy to achieve faster data collection than full spectra. We derive analytical expressions for reso

The present study investigates the photocatalytic activity of ZnSe/CdS core/shell semiconductor nanocrystals. These nanoparticles exhibit a spatial separation of photoinduced charges between the core and the shell domains, which makes them potentiall
