Abell 1758 ( z ∼ 0.278) is a galaxy cluster composed of two structures, A1758N and A1758S, separated by ∼2.2 Mpc. The northern cluster is itself a dissociative merging cluster that has already been modeled by dedicated simulations. Recent radio o

We present a detailed analysis of star formation properties of galaxies in a nearby ($z\sim0.046$) young ($\sim$0.6 Gyr) post-merger cluster system A3376, with a moderate shock front ( $v_{s}\sim$1630 km/s) observed as symmetric radio relics. Exploit

We present a new method to quantify substructures in clusters of galaxies, based on the analysis of the number and intensity of structures detected by an algorithm of the type “friends‐of‐friends”. This analysis is done in a residual image th

Not surprisingly, with the very high angular resolution of the Chandra telescope, results revealed fairly complex structures in cluster cores to be more common than expected. In particular, understanding the nature of spiral‐like features at the ce

We study the interplay between stellar population of the Brightest Cluster Galaxies (BCG) and cluster global properties. We use X-ray properties from Chandra, ROSAT and ASCA observations and BCGs spectra from SDSS-DR6. Using STARLIGHT we determined t
