Ms de Melo Mendes has conducted several presentations on NICU-related topics. She has 20 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with emphasis on Pediatric Intensive Care, Health Care Related Infection, Pediatric Transplantation, and Patient Safety.; Mavilde da Luz Gonçalves Pedreira, PhD, RN, is a Full Professor of UNIFESP, Universidade Federal de São Paulo, in São Paulo, Brazil, and the coordinator of the Laboratory of Nursing Experiments Leenf of UNIFESP and leader of the SEGTEC, a nursing studies and research group on intravascular and drug therapy.
