Oxidation of Au0 in the DMSO-HBr system has given dimethyl sulfide complexes of mono-and trivalent gold, [(Me2S)AuBr] and [(Me2S)AuBr3]. X-ray diffraction examination has shown that in the crystal of the first complex there are chain intermolecular c
