The resonances at microwave frequencies can be observed in polarized junctions; this was studied in previous papers and we have called for an important contribution of minority carriers. With a magnetic field B, a non diagonal component of the electr

The electrical susceptibility of the Silicon-electrolyte interface has been studied when the electrical irradiation field is parallel to the junction. In the High Frequency (H.F.) range, the absorption exhibits one maximum depending on the voltage ap

Reports the evaluation of the residual phase difference /spl utri//spl phi/ in a short (18 cm) Ramsey cavity by implementing the beam reversal technique in an optically pumped cesium beam clock. /spl utri//spl phi/ is measured to be 21 /spl plusmn/1.

We measure the piezoelectric (d=65.10−12 m V−1) and pyroelectric (P=2,5 10−6 Cb m−2 °K−1) properties of K2 V3 O8. We try to obtain a coherence between these results, using the structure of K2 V3 O8 previously determined.

This paper deals with a theoretical and experimental study that describes the effect of a frequency detuning of the laser used to achieve optical pumping in a small optically pumped cesium beam resonator. The ground state Zeeman sublevels with opposi

The properties of optically pumped cesium-beam resonators showing a phase difference, /spl Phi/, of /spl pi/ between the two oscillatory fields are analyzed. They are compared with those occurring with /spl Phi/=0, when the interrogation signal is sl

The main noise sources that affect the clock signal detection in an optically pumped cesium beam resonator are determined and their influence on the clock S/N ratio is evaluated. The following noise sources are taken into account: atomic shot noise,

The resonances observed in polarized junctions induce one current that can be detected. With a magnetic field, one can observe the nondiagonal component of the electrical conductivity, a sort of microwave Hall effect. It is also possible to perform a

Summary form only given. Investigations of the laser-diode optically pumped cesium beam resonator are discussed. The basic atomic resonator operates with a switched-capacitor laser diode tuned to either the D/sub 1/ or D/sub 2/ cesium line at 894 and
